Set in Perm, a once secret military city on the edge of Siberia, “The Slopes” is an area of wasteland where many of the city’s homeless children live. With strong characters, their unique and often tragic stories and the backdrop of a formidable Siberian winter provides an insight into a misunderstood and isolated part of Russian society.
